Our Christmas Fayre Menu is available from the 1st to 23rd of December.

To Start With:

Winter Roasted & Spiced Parsnip & Carrot Soup

Creamed roast parsnip and carrot soup, made with a hint of roasted Asian spices and served with a bread roll.

Course Game Pâté

Layers of course venison, pork & duck pâté topped with wild boar and wrapped in bacon served with a redcurrant jelly and melba toast.

Prawn & Salmon Cocktail

Succulent prawns with poached salmon fillet all mixed together in our marie rose sauce served with a bread roll.

Oven Baked Camembert

Served with a selection of mixed bread sticks and a caramelised red onion chutney.

The Main Event:

Stuffed Lincolnshire Turkey Breast

Roasted turkey breast stuffed with a pork, pancetta, sage, onion and cranberry stuffing. Served with garlic & rosemary roasted new potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables and gravy

Lincolnshire Slow Cooked Stuffed Belly Pork

Belly pork stuffed with a pork, apple, sage & onion stuffing and served on bed of colcannon mash and accompanied by caramelised sliced apple and a traditional cider gravy

Brie, Cranberry, Nut & Mushroom Wellington

Served with a cranberry, sage & onion stuffing, garlic & rosemary roasted new potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, fresh vegetables & gravy

Wheatsheaf Festive Turkey Burger

A homemade burger of seasoned turkey breast mince topped with smoked bacon, brie and cranberry sauce all served in a brioche bun. Served with sage & onion seasoned homemade French fries and a jug of festive gravy.

Salmon Fillet

On a bed of sautéed potatoes and topped with a chive & cucumber sour cream. Served with a watercress salad and garlic & rosemary roasted new potatoes
